With respect to residential property, note that Wellington Financial Services was the first of three servicing companies (and now the sole remaining service provider) for the Texas FAIR Plan and designed the FAIR Plan’s web site. Wellington Financial Services currently administers approximately 46,000 inforce FAIR Plan policies produced by 1,400 different agencies scattered across Texas. The Texas FAIR Plan, is a quasi-governmental insurance company that began providing Texas citizens’ homeowners insurance on a residual market basis in 2003.
